Rentals
Our 10,000 square foot facility has many uses, one of which is room rentals. We rent our rooms to community groups, workshop teachers, schools, individuals and working artists.
Rates are the most competitive in the region and most rooms offer natural light and wooden floors.
We have a pottery room, sprung-floor gym, stage room and a wet media room.
We also rent the Don Harris Room with it's unique grand piano for special occasions. Occasional rentals are available for wedding ceremonies, birthday celebrations, musical concerts, seminars and workshops. Permanent rentals may be available for artists’ studio space.
Our beautifully landscaped two acre property is also available for events. Conact the ECFTA for mroe information.
ROOM RENTAL COSTS – 2012/13 rates, plus HST on all rental fees.
1. OCCASIONAL USE RATE
$65.00 based on a four-hour unit of time: morning/afternoon/evening. Examples:
4 hours (9am - 1pm, or 1pm – 5pm or 5pm - 9pm) = $65
1 full day (9am – 5pm) = $130
1 full day and evening (9am – 9pm) = $195
or $19.00 per hour*
2. NON PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS
$40.00 per unit of time based on a minimum of 6 sessions
or 11.50 per hour*
3. FOR PROFIT BUSINESS
$ 45.00 per unit of time based on a minimum of 6 sessions
or $12.50per hour*
4. FOR PROFIT EVENTS
$150.00 per 4 hour unit of time or $175.00 per 4 hour unit of time for Harris Room with use of the piano
5. STUDIO SPACE – (24/7)
$12.00 SQFT/YEAR (ground floor, all inclusive)
6. STUDIO SPACE – (24/7)
$10.00 SQFT/YEAR (upper floor, all inclusive)
7. HARRIS ROOM WITH PIANO USE – Student Recital
$100.00 per unit of time
* Hourly rates apply during off peak hours or in addition to a standard 4 hour unit of time.
SECURITY RENTAL DEPOSIT:
$200.00 for an event without alcohol
$300.00 for an event where alcohol is served
This security deposit will be refunded if no damage or clean up costs have been incurred in and around the building.
