ROB FORSYTHE, C.I.P.

Senior Vice President, Farm Mutual Reinsurance Plan

Rob is a Chartered Insurance Professional (C.I.P.).  He began his career over 30 years ago with Halwell Mutual Insurance Company in Guelph, Ontario where he held various positions through to and including General Manager.

Rob joined the Farm Mutual Reinsurance Plan in 1987.  He currently holds the title of Senior Vice President with F.M.R.P.  As part of the Executive Management team, his responsibilities include Reinsurance and Client Services.  He holds the Professional Insurance designation of C.I.P., Chartered Insurance Professional, awarded by the Insurance Institute of Canada.  He regularly instructs and speaks on Insurance and Reinsurance issues. 

Rob is a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (C.A.M.I.C.), a Past Director of the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (N.A.M.I.C.), a Past President of the Ontario Mutual Insurance Association (O.M.I.A.), Past Chairman of the Insurance Institute of Ontario, Conestoga Chapter, Past Chairman of the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (N.A.M.I.C.) Merit Society and recipient of the O.M.I.A. Presidential Award of Merit.

Rob resides in Elora, Ontario.
