Barbara Lee was educated in the province of Quebec and further studied in Computer Technology and Business Administration at both Seneca and Sheridan College. She also achieved her FLMI and ACS designations in Insurance. With twenty years of management experience in computer services in banking, engineering and insurance, as well as group pension investment administration, she has a broad knowledge of management, staffing and organization.
In the retail sector, at an early age, Barb owned and operated her own delicatessen and bakery in Toronto. She kept her hand in retail as a sideline, owning a retail gift and toy business that operated in three locations in Toronto.
Presently, Barb co-owns a busy retail business in the village of Elora.
As a volunteer, Barb served on the Board of Directors of a condominium corporation for five years. Barb was actively involved with the Elora Community Theatre for ten years, including production, stage managing, acting and directing. She also served on the EDCT Board of Directors in several capacities.
Barb has a husband and two grown sons and two delightful granddaughters.
